Senator Robyn Kennedy

Senator Robyn Kennedy (she/her), a Worcester native, was first elected to the Massachusetts State Senate in 2022 and represents the First Worcester District. She focuses on building a strong care economy—from childcare to elder care—while investing in workforce opportunity, public transit, and more equitable health outcomes. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at YWCA Central Massachusetts, Deputy Chief of Staff to former Lt. Governor Tim Murray, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Children, Youth, and Families at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. She is a graduate of Holy Name High School, Assumption University, and Clark University (MPA).

Candidate

Joshua Croke (they/them) is the Political Director for Senator Robyn Kennedy’s campaign, serving in a fractional consulting capacity, providing embedded leadership on campaign strategy and community engagement to help the campaign scale effectively and deliver measurable results. Josh brings deep experience in community-centered strategy, collective action, and campaign storytelling. A designer, strategist, and facilitator, Josh most recently served as a Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) Fellow with MassDevelopment, where they led place-based investment strategies and cross-sector partnerships in Springfield’s Mason Square District. They are also the Founder and President of Love Your Labels, a nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ youth and community through art, fashion, and creative expression. Recognized by Worcester Business Journal’s Central Mass Power 50 and Power 100, and BEQ Pride Magazine’s LGBT Leaders Under 40, Josh brings a strong track record in partnership development, collective action planning, and mission-driven leadership.
